Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has been used for many generations to cure many skin conditions and has had a positive impact. Here is how you use it a skin tag.
Properly clean the skin tag
Soak some cotton in clean water.
Add three drops of the oil to the soaked cotton ball.
Rub the concoction on to the skin tag in a circular motion.

Repeat this for a week or up to ten days until the lesion falls off.

Lemon Juice

The citric acid found in lemons and other fruits can be able to decompose off the cells in a skin tag.

Squeeze some lemon juice into a cotton ball and apply the juice on the skin tag; leave the juice to dry. You will be able to see some change in the skin tags after a few days and eventually the skin tag will dry off.


Banana Peel

Cut the banana peel into reasonable pieces. Now use a band to secure the peel onto the affected area, make sure the inside of the peel is the one in contact with your skin.

Leave the peel on overnight and repeat the whole procedure on a daily basis until the skin tag falls off.


Dental Floss

This is one of the most preferred home remedies for many people because it can be used on any part of the body. To use this method simply tie the floss around the base of the skin tag ensuring that you are as near to the body as possible. The knot you make should be tight. You will observe that the skin tag will become smaller in a few days and within a period of 2-3 weeks it will eventually disappear. Some people opt to cut the skin tag but other leave it to fall off on its own.

Castor Oil and Baking Soda

A mixture of baking soda and castor oil has been used to remove skin tags.
Mix the baking soda into a thick paste and apply it on to a clean skin tag.
Cover the area with a band and leave it overnight.
In the morning remove the band and clean the skin tag with warm water.
Repeat the procedure for a week or 10 days until the lesion falls off.


Apple Cider Vinegar

It has been used for the removal of skin conditions such as acne and warts among many others.
Clean the skin tag with some soapy water and leave the surface to dry naturally.
Apply the vinegar directly using a cotton ball in circular motions.
Do this often during the day for a week until the skin tag falls off.


Onion Juice

Chop an onion and leave it in a container that has some salt overnight, so as to extract some juice. Apply the onion juice in the evening on the skin tag and cover the area. In the morning rinse the area with warm water; repeat the procedure every night for at least a week.

Pineapple Juice

Apply pineapple juice two to three times every day without rinsing and after 7 to 10 days the skin dag will fade way.


Garlic

Crush some garlic, apply the juice onto the lesion and cover the area with a band. Make sure that you change the garlic and the band three times in a day.


Aloe Vera Gel

Paint the polish onto the tag and completely cover it, leave it to dry on the tag. Repeat the procedure using fresh paint two to three times every day and eventually the tag will fade of in just a few days.


Duct TapePeople argue that leaving a patch of duct tape on the skin tag for a period of seven days will cause it to drop off when the tape is removed. The method can also be used in mole removal, however, usually people use this method for wart removal and it is proven to be really effective.


Vitamin E

Rub a small amount of the vitamin on to the affected area twice a day and within two weeks the skin tag will disappear. You can also combine the treatment with garlic and leave overnight.


Ginger

If you rub raw slices of ginger on the lesion it has been claimed that the skin tag will eventually fall off in two weeks.
